Vehicles on Display
An exhibitor who is planning to include a vehicle on their stand must notify the Organisers their intentions no later than 28 days prior to commencement of the exhibition. Exhibitors will then be given a specific arrival and departure time to move the vehicle on and off the stand.
The Organisers require details of the delivery together with details of the dimensions and weight of the vehicle. Upon arrival a set of keys must be supplied to the Organisers Office for the duration of the event.

- Drip tray to be placed underneath vehicle.
- Ensure the motor vehicle fuel filler cap must be sealed or secured to prevent easy removal of the fuel cap by unauthorised persons. Under no circumstances is fuel to be decanted or vehicles to be filled on the loading dock or inside the venue.
- For vehicles fuelled by ethanol, methanol or nitro methane, the fuel tanks must be completely empty/purged.
- Motor vehicles powered by flammable gas (e.g., LPG, CNG) may be displayed provided systems are fitted in accordance with relevant Australian Standards for gas fuel systems in motor vehicles.
- When vehicles are displayed on venue carpet flooring, protective carpet or boards are required to be placed under tyres.
- Do not leave keys with the vehicle; keys to be left with at the Organisers Office.
- Electric and hybrid cars will also require a fire extinguisher and drip tray (as above).
- 1 x 2.3 kg A:B(E) dry powder fire extinguisher mounted in a prominent location in accordance with AS2444:2001 Portable Fire Extinguishers.
ELECTRIC VEHICLES (EV’S):
- Charging of EV’s is not permitted within any area of the ICC Sydney apart from the designated EV charging points in the P1 and P2 car parks
- The EVs shall be staggered or spaced greater than 2m apart. Note: Areas within ICC Sydney may require a 3m gap based upon vehicle weight. Please be specific with vehicle location.
- EV’s containing Lithium Ion Battery (LIB) shall not have been in accidents that may potentially impact the LIB.
- EVs with LIBs subject to battery recall or have known issues shall not be in display in the venue
Log onto the AWRE portal, complete and submit the Demonstrations, Vehicle and or Machinery Display Requirements order form.
